The pub has been decorated nicely, not as much of a change from the old pub as I had heard but still pleasant. Menu is very limited, had I know in advance I was going here I would have avoided as it's largely steak. Steaks ordered by the party were good so I'm told though lacking vegetables. The buttermilk chicken burger was ruined by some sort of hot/spicy sauce put on the top and bottom fun, not mentioned in the menu with some very soggy bacon as opposed to the crisps bacon on the menu. Overall it's average, nice if you want steak but very little option other wise.

Very nice dining experience. Lovely food and amazing staff. 100% recommend, shall be returning. Even though it's quite busy at times, I couldn't really complain due to how delicious the food was.

Love this place. Great food... staff are lovely. Angie does a fantastic quiz on a Tuesday which is well worth the visit... there is even free sandwiches and chips!

What a fantastic surprise. Went for a walk along the canal and room a chance stop at the Bowling Green. Sunday meal 3 courses for £16.00 with best beer I have drunk for a while..I only took picture of the starters and deserts...as it was too good...

Fantastic service and the food is amazing as always. The detail to flavour is outstanding. Best place to eat in northwich by far. Well done guys. Keep up the good work.
