Our favourite Indian restaurant. Atmosphere and food v good and staff are friendly and respectful. Christmas and New Year celebrations are excellent. Tip is included in price and is usually well deserved
I've been here lots of times but my most recent visit didn't match the standard it's set before.nnFood is always great. Portion size, heat and flavour is good. Love the drama of the dry ice reveal too.nKingfisher on tap is a plus point.nnBut the atmosphere was poor, there was nobody in there for the huge space which made it feel empty.nnThere were too many staff on so they were all cleaning which made us feel like we were out staying our welcome. Going the loo was a shared experience with 3 staff members in there cleaning too.nnThe guy who's stag it was had a whole pint of beer thrown over him accidentally but it was brushed off as a joke.nnIt wasn't all bad, food service was quick and friendly, just a bit off the usual standard.nnHopefully the next visit is better.
Fantastic meal for Father’s Day. From start to finish service, food and experience was great. Given it was Father’s Day they had plenty of staff - there was never a moment we were waiting but they also didn’t rush us through the door. Food was really good. Will be back.
Lovely restaurant inside and a great view next to the river. Food was nice but average, not the best i've ever had. Reasonably priced. Plenty of parking on Waitrose carpark up to 2 hours free. Staff were polite and friendly. Quick service, but did feel like we were rushed abit. Nice toilet facilities. Booked in advance however, you could just turn up depending on how busy they are.
2024 went for 40th birthday meal and the staff were very accommodating, helpful and efficient. Food is just as delicious as always and never disappoints!nn2023 - Super friendly and helpful staff, always a guaranteed pleaser with the food. Really enjoyed the flavours, depth and taste of everything. Starters were crispy no grease and the mains portions are always generous.
