Brilliant eclectic bar with a diverse crowd where everyone is made to feel welcome. Great beer on tap, reasonable prices and a very late licence. Highlights include the fun quiz on a Thursday where cheating is impossible and anyone stands an equal chance of winning excellent prizes £100 most weeks, a free monthly heavy metal night, Sunday open mic night and gigs every weekend. A truly great bar!!
Love the gig nights, we go quite often.. Supporting the local bands. Not so keen on the bar side on just "normal or karaoke" nights.. would be better if kept exclusively as a Music venue/rock themed bar
It's a dive bar, which has rock music and filthy drinks. Always busy at the weekend when I've been in. Never seen any trouble in there. Has a pool table, but that seen better days. Has karaoke on and that has some surprisingly good singers along with the surprisingly bad, which is exactly what you want.
Great venue, was there for the Punk Oi day early Dec 22. Lovely staff friendly door staff beer reasonably priced good all round. Will be back soon and will recommend
Great selection of R&B, Reggae, Ska, Old Skool, Blues, Rare/Underplayed music in the Cherry Pit run by Neil & Phil on a quarterly basis. Nice selection of draught pale/blonde ales. Bit cool but soon warmed up after a few dances..
One of the best live music venues in the country with bands on every weekend catering for everyone's musical tastes.
Absolutely brilliant early start and finish is perfect for us older punk's can't wait for Subhumans.
Great smallish venue, Nice range of beer at a sensible price. definitely go again
Always a lovely night out with friendly staff and locals. Love a Thursday with the quiz and karaoke even if I always end up last. Always an enjoyable night and majority there are very welcoming
All the staff are amazing except one, which is the blonde girl, she has a miserable face when she serves you, a horrible attitude and only happy with whoever she's close with. Also the bouncers are violent and only care about themselves.
