A small shop with mainly rolls and coffee but also serves some cakes and coffee. Suprisingly enough the Burger was one of the best I've had in Scotland and the breakfast was as expected very good as well. The staff was in a good mood and the prices were affordable. If there was any room for criticism I would say there might be not much room. This may be an issue on a brisk spring day but not so much the rest of the year. So yeah, pretty great place.
Small and cosy cafe just off the Main Street in Ullapool. Staff are really friendly and the food is cooked fresh. Breakfast rolls and coffee were all really high quality. Took a couple of cakes too for the journey home and they were very tasty too. Not a lot of seats but if you can get one then it’s well worth a sit in. Really enjoyed our visit, and we’ll definitely pop in when back in town.
Such a cosy wee place!! If you're not fast, you're last as there are only a few tables. The full breakfast was lovely & the coffee was fab. I would definitely go back again!
One of the quirkiest, unique and friendly cafes we've been to. Travelling around from Australia. Only in ullapool for two nights, we came to The Bothy each morning. Ruth and Gordon are super friendly. Great coffee, wonderful service and tunes. Food is quick and tasty, obviously a favorite amongst locals and they've created the interior by their bare hands using lots of wonderful different pieces. Such an amazing atmosphere. True Scottish vibe. We will be sad to leave. Thanks for the delicious food and lovely coffee! We'll be back!
Exactly what we wanted! A small cozy coffee shop in the wonderful Ullapool. The service was helpful and friendly and the bacon and egg rolls were fresh and tasty. Really good value for money too. We loved the pick and mix feel of the interior, gives a homely feel to this little hole in the wall. They also have gluten free options, and the fact that the chef herself gave us our meals always makes us feel welcome.nnThe only thing I can add is that the coffee was far too hot. My wife burnt her tongue even after it rested for 10min. Dial that down a little and all will be good.
