Love this place. Been twice recently once for breakfast and again for evening meal on Xmas Eve. They are dog friendly, as saw one post to say its only dog friendly on the balcony. That's not true at all. Can go inside no problem. Great menu and food
Amazing dinner experience!! The restaurant was able to accommodate our booking of 16 comfortably and everyone enjoyed their dishes!! We had a private dining area and a table on the heated terrace and the entire restaurant felt magical! The sharing kebab was a hit! Would definitely come back again or visit one local to my area!!
We popped into Manchester to check out the Imperial War Museum, and decided to have lunch at The Botanist in Media City. What a good decision! Let’s start with the fact that the interior design is a feast for the eyes… and such a good vibe. I would never have thought it was a chain. The food was delicious — we ordered both the hot and vegan board. Perfect for two people to share. DELICIOUS. Especially the cauliflower and garlic shrimp. The service was good, staff was wearing masks, and it was just overall a great lunch experience. Looking forward to going back and/or visiting another location, especially to try some cocktails.
The place is great and good atmosphere too. I do like the various rooms, the layout of the restaurant. We did like starters: truffle Camembert was delicious and the hot board as well I was less convinced by the cheeseburger, just basic, and chips were over cooked.
Great food, great atmosphere, awesome vibe. What's not to like? The food here is delicious. Book in advance so you don't get disappointed as its quite busy.
Really great experience! All the food was delicious and staff was always around ready to take drink and food orders.Would definitely recommend to others. Will be going again!,,,,soon
Food was exceptional however most items on the menu contained some kind of spice and although I have no allergies I'm not great with with spices and this kinda of spoiled my meal alittle. However I still enjoyed my food and a dessert. And the mountain blossom mocktail was really lovely too. I would return and recommend this restaurant.
Nothing like trying a new place to eat for lunch and in Media City in Salford. First time eating at The Botanist and really enjoyed it. Starters Scotch Egg and Calamari Mains Cheeseburger and Hanging Salt and Pepper Belly Pork It is a shame we couldn't fit in dessert as we were both stuffed! Service was friendly.
Entry is downstairs restaurant and terrace upstairs Lift available Query place. Front of house friendly, arrived early, not a problem. Staff friendly, Meals were lovely, extended wait for main meals. Worth the wait. Had rum cocktails, wine & apple juice. Will be going back.
The inside decor is fab! Creates really nice atmosphere, and the food was nice too. The problem was the service. We waited about 20 minutes for a dessert menu, and after ordering cake and coffee we waited another 20min and still nothing arrived! Very disappointing as the atmosphere was great and it wasn't busy at all either.
