I'm am a French Indian food lover and living in central London I was very often disappointed .I decided to stop ordering instead ,i was sticking to the restaurants I knew. I was sceptical about the reviews on the Bombay club ,but I have just finish my meal , and IT IS WORTH every penny. I loved it. the portions were generous and although they said it would take long time for delivery ,I felt like it was pretty quick. so trust me when I say that it is good!!
Since Bombay Bicycle Club went into administration, the Little Venice branch has reopened and started off as independent delivery service. Cooking on-site with fresh ingredients, The Bombay Takeaway Club does perhaps the best Indian take-away food in the area. And since July 2013, they expanded from take-away to restaurant with a few tables outside where you can sit down and enjoy their food from proper dishes. I ordered from The Indian Takeaway Club a couple of times and once eaten at their outside dining area, and always greatly enjoyed the food. The different chicken dishes I had were always delicious, the chicken was tender and the sauces were rich and tasty. Their lemon rice is a treat and the naan also tastes very good. As you might expect from an Indian restaurant, you usually get a popadom with your order. If you live locally around Maida Vale and like Indian food, you should definitely give The Bombay Takeaway Club a try!
I regularly eat at Bombay Takeaway Club at least once a week, sometimes more. The best thing about the restaurant is that all food is made fresh and right in front of you open kitchen. The chefs are absolutely excellent and make dishes to order. Honestly, I have not found a better indian place in St. John's Wood/Edgware Road area. Highly recommended.
Dreadful. Overpriced and my daughter's curry was off so I'm pleased she didn't eat more than one mouthful - mine had three pieces of chicken in it. I emailed them and their email doesn't work - I've kept my daughter's curry for testing as it possibly could have made her very ill indeed. Avoid at all costs.
Horrible food, you get more indian flavour if you buy microwave meal from Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Iceland, marks and spencer! I am feeling super sick already! Food not worth the price! Will never order from them again and so shouldn't you unless you want to waste your money and end up spending time in the toilet! Let me just tell you I am super used to spicy food so nothing to do with that.
One of the worst culinary experiences of my life. Food tasted like salty butter, dhal was supposed to be cooked for 16 hours but had no flavour in it whatsoever. The paneer was a joke. Tasted so bland Waiter was rude and so confused with what he was doing. Ordered a ginger ale which was flat. The only things going for the place are its location and the actual resturant itself. Save yourself the dissappointment and walk past this place.
I am so pleased that I stumbeled up on this via a take away site. I was tired of eating really bad food which was passed out as Indian food. The food here is authentic and you have made my day with such a pleasant surprise for such good value for money. I would be recommending you a lot. absolutely yum food.
The food here is great! They have really nice staff and the online delivery option is very convenient. You can order for a specific time of evening. So far I'm a fan of the lamb dishes and you can't go wrong with chicken.
Food was Ok, service wasn't as fast as promised
Delivered a biryani minus sauce. Order has to specify yoghurt or biryani sauce. Yoghurt previously came with. Tipped the delivery person. Called to explain the confusion Was referred to line 2 above. Shall never order again. Strongly recommend others not to. Biryani minus sauce..
