This is the café nearest to my office, so it's a short walk along the river. I recommend walking alongside the Tone and hitting up this place afterwards. Strong coffee and tea from local Mr Miles, excellent variety of cakes and hot/cold menu of brightly coloured lunch choices. The staff are particularly accommodating and friendly even when it is busy, which is often! A must for a decent lunch out in Taunton.

Good food in a pleasant location. (I particularly like the breakfast selection available before 12). . if you like it here you should try The Shed and The Weir as well

Lovely cafe. Great omelette for lunch. I go here every time I visit Taunton

Food is high quality, location is great, though drinks are over the counter and food is table service. Can be slightly confusing and at busy times leave you with a cold drink to accompany your food when it arrives.
