If You planning You wonderfull night out with Your most precious friends AVOID THIS place. We book a table in BLACK DOOR week and half in advance to make sure we get our spot. In return we got no place to celebrate rude manager who has no manners to deal with difficulties and horrible attitude. Congrats guys.
Great venue. Note: piano didn't start until 12:30.
Unfortunately the Piano doesnt get played in the piano bar but you can have a conversation above the music.
Gin and tonic is bit overpriced but fantastic decor and the music is brilliant. A great place for a night out. Loved the espresso martinis. Bar staff and all the staff are very elegant and provide top class service with a smile. Highly recommended.
Great to be able to go back and support these venues, great spot to end the Christmas party.
Nice vibe, but waaay over-priced, and incredibly poor variety of drinks, e.g. no IPA beers.
Maybe because I was in there too early but it's over pricedDublin prices I guess, gale force breeze blows in the front door and hophouse 13 is pure dishwater. Piano "music" is way to loud upstairs but hey enough people like it so hey....
Absolute buzz of a place!! Never realised this place existed until we went to a friends 30th at the Iveagh Garden Hotel. Nightclub vibes with live music. Lovely crowd, no messing about and everyone seemed to be on the same buzz. Will be back.
Not bad, just took a while to get service at bar
I phoned two weeks prior to my event to reserve a table as friends were in from London visiting. I explained we would have a range of ages 35-55 which was no problem on the phone. When we got to the door for said table, not only was there no recollection of my booking, but apparently there way no ‘white soled shoes’ allowed. I think that’s something you mention when enquiring to book a large table. Anyway the men on the door were tougher than a badgers arse. Avoid at all costs if you can!! Hooligans the lot of them
