Really great staff and food. We came in near closing as we had been to a show but the staff were really friendly and explained that our starters would come out as sides to our main meals. Did not rush us and the food was great!
Tasty food, good portion sizes and great value for money. Kids menu is absolutely brilliant; 3 courses for £5 in central London. Loved that they had an Olaf themed milkshake, because the restaurant is opposite the Theatre where Frozen the Musical is on. Would definitely come back here if in the area. Would recommend ordering the Bodeans platter and the chocolate brownie is sensational!!
American style place, perfect for meat lovers. It's good, portions are big on the sharing platters. Lots of meat so it's really good for the price. The ribs were my favorite. Nothing blew my mind, but tasted good, good price and fast service.
If your in need of a meat feast this is the place to come. The chicken wings were divine, as was the burger, the ribs I have had better. If you have small people in tow they do a great menu for children.
Excellent food and cocktails. Visited early Thursday afternoon and enjoyed 2 for 1 cocktails. Went for the platter with burnt end, short ribs, back ribs, chicken thighs and brisket. We also had coleslaw and jalapeño muffins. All was great, though the coleslaw was average. Drinks were superb. Service was decent but abrupt.Food: 5/5
Great tasting burgers, with a good portion of crisp, well-seasoned fries which were hot and fresh, rather than slightly soggy from hanging around as sometimes fries can be. Chicken and pulled pork burger had a huge piece of chicken, while the beef and burnt ends burger had a thick, juicy patty £12 and £14 respectively. All burgers can have either a beef patty of a chicken breast, which adds welcome versatility to the options. Pina colada was tasty and fresh £8, though there is the option of a happy hour weekdays between 3-7pm of two of the same cocktails for £12. The key lime pie £5 was a little average and could have done with a little bit more lime/was a little warm, but rounded off the meal well enough. Service was friendly and attentive, and help was always quick and prompt.
17/01/22 Lovely place literally a stones Throw from our theatre show. Had the pulled pork and beef ends. Really good. The pulled pork was some of the best I’ve tasted. Fiancée had the burger. Really thick meat. No McDonald’s burger here. Everything including drinks were well priced considering the location. Both waitresses were extremely helpful and attentive. Would certainly recommend if your in the area.
We ordered bodean platter for 3 and the Mexican salad. The portions were sufficient and thr BBQ was delicious. Best BBQ outside of the US. One suggestion would be to add bread or cornbread to the menu. Our waitress was very friendly.
I went dining at Bodean’s many times mainly at the Tower Hill branch, my local and I was never disappointed with the food. Tonight wasn’t any different! I had a great time with a bunch of friends for our X-Mas dinner and the food was still really really nice. I had the burnt ends and pulled pork platter with a side of fries and coleslaw. The meat was so juicy and tender it was literally melting in the mouth! Highly recommended if you are a true BBQ lover Although, I still had to knock down one star as staff wasn’t the nicest that night at this branch and they didn’t take AMEX which frankly is quite unacceptable for a multi location restaurant in London…
This is well worth a visit if you are in the Covent Garden although I would definitely recommend booking. The food here is great and at a reasonable price. Here you can see the Bodeans Sharing Platter for two people. It compromised of Ribs, Chicken, Burnt Ends and pulled pork. I would have like it to have included a slaw or maybe some other veg but all in all a great meal. The atmosphere is also like a very classic American BBQ restaurant with a mixture of sports playing in the background and great blues music. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food came promptly after ordering. There are plenty of gluten free options and something for everyone with a great menu ranging from classic BBQ as mentioned as well as burgers, hot dogs and chilli. I also had the Strawberry Shrub Mojito which was a non alcoholic cocktail. This tasted great and complemented the great BBQ flavour of the pulled pork and burnt ends.
