Absolutely disgusting ! The falafel wrap was extremely hot and tasted so off and old and really smelt unpleasant the lettuce inside was wilted and rotting, the reason I reckon it was so hot is because they tried to hide old the wrap was. Absolutely disgraceful!!!
Updating review from 5 to 2 start as this place’s quality has gone down so much. I used to love the burgers,breakfast and coffee here. In my last visit they served terrible coffee which was spilled over the tray and cup, badly cooked breakfast. Presentation and food both was so bad. Degrading service is something that I have noticed over time in many visits. Would love to see this get back to previous level, this was the first cafe I tried in Colindale few years back.
It was freezing in the cafe so i food was cold and very expensive for it . Never again are we going there

I’m leaving this message simply because I tried to email the manager about the appalling customer service especially by the female waitress. Unfortunately he didn’t hear my side of the story and as a consequence as this is the third time this individual has been rude to me I will not be going back. He did also claim that this was the first time he’s heard of the staff being rude, however viewing all of the comments that are left I’m now led to believe that that was untrue. I’ve been a resident in the local area for nine years plus and the previous owner was so lovely, I’ve had my sons birthday parties here and rented out the cafe on 2 occasions. Unfortunately due to the rudeness of staff and the fact that the owner did not want to have a conversation as to how and why this individual should be spoken to I will not be coming back. Which she said she was happy for me to do I can also see some of the comments that have been left in reply to customer service issues, who have highlighted the rudeness of his staff and it is very clear that he is enabling this behaviour instead of stopping it. Please remember that happy customers return which is always a positive for you bare that in mind next time your staff are rude.
Cold caffe no sugar - Beegel cold also and no sugar and small coffe and negels 8£ i tjomg its litle over pricing - and plate looks like dirti but is not i do not recomend this place
Nice food, great service, good atmosphere. We miss the bookshelves a little bit from the previous place that was here you could always borrow a book and leave some other book for somebody else to read but overall it was a good experience. There were no waffles available, even though they were on the menu and the scrambled eggs were really dry. English breakfast was tasty, tea was okay, pastries were nice.
I don't like to leave a low review as the owner is friendly. The food is decent. What keeps me from going here is the prices. They charge higher prices for the convenience of being right downstairs for residents of Beaufort Park. Yet, you can get more food at less price a three minute walk to the cafe's near the train station. At ITJL next to the station for example you can get eggs, sausage, bacon and coffee for £5. Lower your prices, maybe make some coffee + meal deals? I think you will see more business, especially from the locals.
