Story

The Bellhouse is a beautiful 16th century hunting lodge that was once frequented by Great British monarchs and noblemen, today our restaurant is still steeped in original features and charm but has been combined with modern elements to ensure comfort and style throughout.

Our main dining area can be found on the first floor of our stunning building, here you can expect an open fire to be lit in the colder months, wooden beams, elegant furnishings and soft lighting more suitable perhaps for those guests looking for a more formal or intimate evening.

Our restaurant continues on to the ground floor and nestles perfectly beside the traditional bar area. With its Parquet flooring, open fire and comfortable seating, it is the ideal setting for those diners looking for a brassiere style experience to enjoy with friends and family.

During the warmer months you can always expect the large stylish patio area overlooking the running brook, to be available for dining. Many leisurely luncheons, private functions and a well deserved 'after work' drink or two can also be enjoyed here.
