Amazing place to stay for a meal or just to have a pint. There is also coffee available. Staff is super nice and helpful. The view is breathtaking from the outside seating area. There are plenty spaces inside with design that just make you want to stay a bit longer. The place has its own parking opposite the building. I have seen dogs coming in, so we’ll behaved ones are probably welcome. Will definitely return.
This place is a WOW! The restaurant was so tastefully decorated both inside and out at the terrace! We had such a fabulous time there enjoying the food which were absolutely delicious! At first we didn’t expect much as the menu seems a bit small, we ordered swordfish and pork belly with wings and calamari for starter. Oh boy, they were so good, the sauce was perfectly matched and balanced with the meat. Everything was perfection! The terrace and the view are mesmerising! It’s got the romantic look and is very clean and well look after. We were very lucky enough to stay out until late as the weather allowed us to. We were so glad that we stayed at the hotel right on the opposite, otherwise we would never had such great enjoyment, it made one of the highlights for our short stay in Ramsgate!
Great pub with excellent views over Pegwell Bay. We went on Sunday no Sunday roasts but a great varied menu to suite all tastes , beside each item the calories for the meal are shown as well as if suitable for vegan or vegetarian. Great selection of ales and for the drivers Noughty Bear 0.5% pale ale ,which was surprisingly pleasant. My wife had Swordfish fillet which she said was lovely as was Firecracker supreme chicken. The Beef & ale pie was a little hard to cut into but once inside was full with meat.Service was excellent and car parking directly opposite pub. The pub is dog friendly. For parties of 6 or more there's a discretionary 10% service charge and on all bills you are given the opportunity to donate 25p added to your bill for charity. Also if there on a Sunday music on the terrace overlooking Pegwell Bay from 4pm. Well worth a visit.
Lovely place for al fresco dining. Limited car park and could be better for wheelchair users. Food is lovely, big choice and quality. Lobster platter looks amazing. Staff are great.
Great. I booked a table on the Easter bank holiday weekend, we arrived a little late, but our table got vacated for us. Outside was busy with people enjoying the sun, but we sat inside, with a sea view. The food was tasty and despite being really busy it was out in less than half an hour from order. The staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. My only feedback would be: for the Mexican burger a bit of salad in the side would be welcomed.
An amazing pub in fantastic location!! The pub itself is great but the beer garden is incredible and the views are almost unbeatable. We visited on a warm, but cloudy day and obviously chose to sit outside to enjoy the picturesque scenery and I can fully understand why the pub is nicknamed 'The balcony of Kent'. Unfortunately I live on the opposite side of Kent otherwise I would 100% make this pub my local. Great food and drink, fantastic service, overall an awesome place, I definitely will be back when I can. There are enjoyable walks to and from the pub as well which makes it an even more attractive place to visit. There was also a friendly cat which helped keep our kids interested. There was a good selection of Shepherd Neame beers and an appetising menu. Can't wait to return. Definitely recommended.
One of my locals with outstanding views, nice selection of beers/wines, excellent service and tasty food. Every time I have visitors we stop here.
Outstanding pub, superbly amazing stuff works there and food is delicious. Fabulous view keep you company when enjoying pint of ale.
Such a beautiful pub and the view is to die for. Unfortunately on this occasion the food did not live up to the view, however the service and staff were so accommodating. Five stars for the pub and three for the food.
Good views, the hedges are infested with wasps and flys however. Loaded chips were delicious and not too expensive. Also some very soothing background music
