Superb venue with great staff & engaging atmosphere. The food was superb, and their toast dinners are spectacular. Great for a quick pint, a leisurely lunch, or formal dinner. Bedford Inn has it covered! Highly recommended.
Booked in for Sunday lunch and a lovely welcome at the door, the waitress Charlotte was super friendly, the vegetarian dish was amazing best roast dinner I have had all the components was cooked well and seasoned. The presentation was very good indeed. Thank you chefs, keep up the good work team. When going downstairs you could say it was dark compared to outside but once you get used to it, it has absolutely lovely decor. Whoever did the colour scheme well done, i love the teal blue and red.
Selection of drinks is superb, Sunday roasts are a must!! Grant the owner is brilliant…I say owner it’s really Sam that runs the place and she does a wicked job! The decor is perfect! Open fire in the winter, outdoor garden with a sand pit and toys for kids to play in during the summer. What’s not to love?!
Amazing atmosphere and service. Great cocktails .. the food, the food is so good! Had ribs and mussels and would say three best of both we have had. Oysters easily the best in Thanet. This is a gem and proves that Ramsgate consistently punches above its weight for a small town.. delightful all round
The best Sunday roast I've had in a very long time. I gave it a 4* because the roast potatoes could have been slightly better, they just needed a little longer cooking. Gravy was smashing, could have done with a gravy boat, massive portions and massive homemade yorkies. Will definitely be going back.
Great local pub! Grant, Ashton & Sam are all so welcoming and friendly! Drinks are really reasonably priced Cocktails are 2 for £10 between 5-7pm! and service was very good, especially considering there were no spare tables in the lovely, sun filled beer garden later in the day. Easy to show friends why the Bedford has become our favourite local pub. Thanks again Team Bedford!
Went for a family roast there and was not disappointed. Food was amazing and the staff very attentive . The restaurant downstairs is tastefully decorated and the pub upstairs newly refurbished. We will definitely be going back!

What a transformation!! Thank you Grant, Johnny, fantastic manager and beautiful hearted Sam and the amazing mixologist Ashton 2 cocktails for a tenner Winner Winner! thats made the Bedford Inn a welcoming friendly place to enjoy great beers, lovely cocktails and a nice selection of wines. The garden beach is a must is this sun trapped beer garden .
The Bedford Inn has become my favourite pub after just a couple of visits. Why? Grant the owner is welcoming and has the right outlook on life- it's about having a good time and the Bedford Inn delivers. The whole team are friendly and the bar prices are set at a very sensible level. The garden has been refurbished with plenty of seating and even a beach! It's a great place to meet new people too. Well worth a visit!
