Friends told me that this pub had improved of late so I had a look. I've been in almost daily in last 4 weeks. What a difference !! The staff are talking to customers, kitchen is always open, plenty of beer, wine and ice in stock. Its warm, friendly and live sport too. My perfect local!
Big thanks for accommodating our booking yesterday. I requested a quiet area and I couldn't have been more pleased with the understanding and support from staff. Even a phone call beforehand to explain they would turn the music and TV off. We all enjoyed our time at The Bell and the wonderful food and service. More pubs need to take advice from you so that individuals can access public places and enjoy their time with family. Our area was perfect where we were seated. Highly recommend. Thanks again.

Well today we had a booking for 1.45pm. At 1.13 pm I got a call to bluntly tell me that if we choose to come at our booked time, we would not be able to order food for at LEAST an hour after our arrival. The reason being apparently the delivery came was meant to be at 9am and the 'chef' had to unload it and pack it away. Apparently there were 2 staff on site. Why was I not called this morning?? So as we arrive we sit down for lunch, waited for the hour to go past, observing there were more than 2 staff in duty, chatting and standing around so that was a lie. We went to order coffee and cake and starters, only yet to be told "we don't do cake" and the kitchen is not open for another 10 minutes. An hour already gone past!!! No apology or nicely explaining that "sorry we don't have cake today" when clearly it is on the menu. I'm really not pleased with The Bell in Molesey. I drive for over an hour with my disabled mum to get there to meet my daughter only to be be treated like that today. We eventually left as we were not treated like valued customers and didn't feel welcomed at all. Very upset and annoyed about today as it was long planned and very looked forward to, but were greatly disappointed by The Bell. Thanks for wasting my day.
We moved to the area recently when I came across this lovely little pub I was chuffed. The staff are great it’s kept really well and enjoy the odd meal when we can’t be bothered to cook. It’s a warm atmosphere in the winter and a great beer garden for the summer.
Fantastic pub as a local should be! Have had previous issues when the landlady was off but it's truly back to where it should be. Clean, great service, tasty food and outstanding selection of well kept cask ale. Keep it up team!
Had a lovely meal down The Bell for dinner this evening with my partner! The staff are amazingly quick with the service and the food was amazing! The pub is also dog friendly which is a massive bonus! Thank you for having us and look forward to visiting again on Friday for a meal with friends! :
What a wonderful pub! Amazing building with lots of separate areas to sit. Good selection of real ales CAMRA discount offered which are well kept. Service is very friendly & efficient. If you’re nearby then it’s worth a visit.
It's a lovely looking pub with a great beer garden. The food is mediocre though for the kind of price you pay for better food elsewhere. That's Greene King food though, same in them all! Good local pub.
Absolutely appalled, Book a Christmas dinner on December 8th 2pm arrived to be told 45 minute wait while delivery to be put a way ? , didn’t mind as always had good meals in the past ,meal arrived,did have to take a second glance at the pure white roast potatoes but decided to give them agoveg rock hard couldn’t cut any, all 4 of us decided to return the meal very disappointed don’t think we will be eating at the Bell the near future !!!
