Spectacular pub. Brilliant foot, very much a step up from other pub fare. Staff were amazing. The waitress who served us was spectacular, having loads of fun with us and our two girls. Very attentive and knowledge. Definitely a great pub and will return for just a drink, but I'm sure we'll stay for a meal!Service: 5/5
Beautiful old pub with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and personable service. Roaring open fires - perfect for a snowy day. Recently enjoyed a delicious lunch for 3. Extremely tasty and the portion sizes were and usually are very generous. Top notch!Service: 5/5
My family and I stopped off for a drink whilst seeking shelter from a very hot day. The place is really nicely done. There are very tasteful modern touches to what is a beautiful old character building. The location is what it is, but it's easy to get to and there is plenty of parking at the rear. The staff were all lovely and friendly and there's plenty of choice in terms of beers and wines etc. There's lots of outside space, some shaded, and inside was lovely and cool, and not at all cramped. There's a bookshelf with all manner of lovely books to read if you want to kill a few hours over a quiet drink.
What a lovely pub. Set in beautiful part of the cotswolds. The menu was simple but everyone at our table found a favourite. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection buy there was a noticeable difference from portion to portion? The service was great. Not to slow but not rushed. The only real criticism I have was the pub was a tad cold and I was sat near the fire and the cost was a tad high. All said and done I would happily recommend the Bell at Sapperton
The Welcome we received was so lovely and warm, we felt special, thank you, The room was a wow, the evening meal from the excellent menu was perfect. The wine stunning. A very enjoyable breakfast, local walks are stunning, we caught a glimpse of a deer! All in all The Bell in Sapperton ticks every box you could wish for, well doneRooms: 5/5
Pitched up here after a long walk in December. No tables left for lunch but they managed to fit us in. Super crispy and delicious haddock and a cracking burger. Also excellent beer. They seem to be having fun too, which is always good.
Beautiful classic Cotswolds pub in a beautiful village. Well maintained, nice beer garden. We had a very tasty roast - everything was delicious. The highlight however was the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini, which was utterly sublime, and the detailed at-home preparation tips we were kindly offered by the host! Although we might just come back for theirs :
We spent 1 night here but would certainly return if in the area again. The room was very large and comfortable with an amazing power shower. We ate in the dining room in the evening which was very cosy and the food was delicious. We also enjoyed a beautifully cooked breakfast in the morning.Rooms: 5/5
Spot on! Having enjoyed the welcome, food and environment ourselves, we brought my brother & sister & partners here between Christmas and New Year. The warm welcome from Sophia and the excellent service from Isabelle complimented the fabulous food created by Jamie and the team who also made sure that my wife’s food intolerances were taken care of without fuss. Thank you all for making our annual meet up extra special! Same time next year : With much appreciation Jules , Sandra and Woody x
We had a fantastic meal at this beautiful, old pub. Full of character & charm and wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Great, quick service from friendly staff. Couldn't fault it.Service: 5/5
