On a grim rainy Sunday it was a welcome sight to see a buzzing restaurant with lovely aromas of carvery meats. Good selection of three meats and not too many vegetables, very nice roast potatoes too. Only point to note was that gravy, though tasty, was too salty. Very nice chocolate cake for pudding. Staff were very nice, think our waiter was very new there, but he was lovely. Toilets were clean, though stalls were slightly narrow if you are more generously proportioned! Will definitely return when we are up in that area again.

The Belfry is a wonderfully friendly hotel/ public house frequented by locals and visitors alike. There is a great choice of food, regular entertainment and approachable staff. The manager is first class.

We went down for Easter Sunday lunch. The Belfry, traditionally does carvery on Sundays and it was lovely. Gotta say this time round the roast tatties were spot on.

Nice steak meal. Been coming to belfry for years and never had a bad meal. Nice rooms, play area for kids. good place for drinks in the summer

Had my evening do here. Fantastic effort by staff and the manager shane. Finished very late yet same staff were on duty the following morning. Lush food. Great service.
