This was one of my best lunchtime meals ever. I had their classic cheese and onion pie with minted peas and mashed potato. Superb! I also shared my fiancée's skin on chips which looked and tasted wonderful. I don't often have a pudding. However today I tried the Baum's sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce, almond brittle and clotted cream. It was exceptional. Try this place; it is great. Great staff too, and the building has tons of character.
Really peaceful place to meet. The garden is definitely my favourite part also if the interior are properly decorated in a nice retro style. Nice choice of gin and tonics and tasty appetizers
Fantastic food and a good selection of beers
You can't visit Rochdale & not go to the Baum!! This pub has such a lovely atmosphere. I visited on Sunday with friends and we had a lovely meal. I had the tempura prawns which were lovely and crispy. For my main I had the Turkey, stuffing and sausage pie, it came with bacon mash & veg, which were delicious. I highly recommend the Malbec too!!
What a great find and a real gem. We stumbled across the Baum after travelling from Liverpool for a little hike round Greenbooth reservoir. Everything about this place is wonderful. The food was delicious. Staff very attentive and friendly. Great interior. Would definitely return
Had a leaving party at the Baum. Really relaxed and friendly. Terry really looked after us and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was fab and a great price. Really lovely selection of wine and other alcoholic beverages. Well worth a visit.
I've been to The Baum ever since I was young and always enjoy going in there. I recently went on Saturday 18th March with friends and really enjoyed the food. I also loved the service and the waiter Terry was a really nice friendly man who gave us good recommendations on the meals!
Great bar tucked away on a side street. Great hearty food, well kept real ale along with a decent selection of spirits. Friendly and attentive service too.
Great pub, with excellent beer and food choices. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Would recommend a visit.
Classic pub. Good local beers and good food
