Great cocktails! Found this place whilst looking for food in city centre after arriving in Dublin late with no prior booking. The staff were friendly, pleasant and attentive and found us a table even though the kitchen wasn’t going to be open for much longer. Had the halloumi fries and fish and chips which were both fairly tasty but the cocktails were even better! We thought there was a great atmosphere here and it was a perfect find for the start of a weekend break.
After hitting Dublin Castle and Needful Things, we went looking for good food. We decided on this location. Good service. Good atmosphere. Good arrived quickly. Good taste. I ordered the Beef and Guinness Stew, my wife ordered the Ploughman sandwich, and my son ordered the Buffalo Wings. We all enjoyed our meal. This location is highly recommended!
We were bar hopping following local friends suggestions and this place is wonderful. The drink is tasty and the deco is pretty. Also love the vibe and love how happy the staff is. Highly recommended.
Great place to people watch if you can get table outside. Very varied menu with lot of options.
Adorable place for lunch or a latte. Loved the vibe, the food, and the service!
Christmas Party organised by our colleague Martina and John the manager in The Bailey. What a beautiful place for gathering and relaxing evenings. Very happy to highly recommend this place! Thank you to all the friendly staff!!! 10 stars from me!!!
If you are there with a dog, you you can not going in to the bar to order a coffee. One of the staff was a bit snotty. But the bartender was quite lovely. And did try to be helpful. There was only one person on the coffee bar. On a Sunday . Not good at all he was run off his feet. It is a lovely place, but very busy and the staff was suffering. Not enough staff & the staff who was there are running here and there. The manager himself was helping out and was absolutely quite fabulous. No complaint about the staff but one. And not naming names.
Amazing staff which I think is what makes a great pub. Great service. Great food and not overpriced. Overall a great place and so welcoming. And John is an amazing manager who does not miss a beat.Food: 4/5
Perfect spot just off Grafton Street to stop for a bite to eat and a drink. I enjoyed coffee & merlot, but next time I'm going for some of their seafood. Tip: If you go around to the National Gallery of Ireland, you'll find a painting by Harry Aaron Kernoff, painted in 1941, of the view from inside The Bailey, of Davy Byrne's pub opposite. The pub, more of a cafe these days, is still there.
Decent bar with good drinks and food. Short staffed as i had to flag waiter down to switch out the sugary ice tea $5 EU for non sweetened. Ceaser has been accompanied with bacon which adds salty taste as they don’t use anchovies. Wish Guinness taste was more pronounced in the beef stew. But the Irish soda bread texture and taste was awesome with butter which was melted as it was placed in the bottom of the bread.
