First time visit to the Backs. Amazing views across to the college's, particularly Kings College and the chapel. So much history right in front of you, and loads of photo opportunities! We were lucky enough to be invited to join some friends for a punt along the river, and what a great way to spend an evening! Well worth a visit to the area, and the parking on Queens Road is free after five, so you can catch the setting sun lighting up Kings College and the chapel.

Historic back side of Cambridge with pastures and a park like setting. My son goes to school there so we walked the entire place. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world

A green oasis very idyllic except for what the birds have left, so look where you step when you walk on the path.

Visited today at dusk. No crowds, just some punting on the Cam.

I really enjoyed my morning in this area. What a beautiful scenery in Cambridge. We can  relax from busy day by just seeing people do punting in the river.  It is one of my best experience enjoying a city in England.

Walk alongside the west side brook, not only a nice spot to watch the external curve of king’s chapel, but also a good place to encounter some waders, eg, lovely moorhen chicks.

We are so privileged to live in Cambridge! I always use King’s College Chapel in the background of the vehicles I sell! It’s one of the Best backdrops in the World!  ‍

One of the must do things in Cambridge is to go Punting along The Backs in Cambridge! I recommend booking online with Scudamore’s for this.
