I went clubbing here for the first time for my friend’s 18th birthday and it was amazing. The owner and all of the staff there were super nice and made us feel safe. The music was great and the fire dancers only added to the fun atmosphere. We had a blast and would definitely come back in the future :

Safest and best club in Portsmouth! If you want to go clubbing I’d hugely recommend Astoria, it’s fun, vibes and most importantly safe, they never fail to make you have the best night ever and there’s at least 3 events every week including a new one on Sundays too now! Free toast, who can say no to that so yes I highly recommend- from a fellow Astoria obsessed customer

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the female member of the door staff working on NYE. My daughter had been separated from her friends and a bit tipsy, I had to drive 30mins to collect her and the door staff looked after her and kept her safe until I came to the door for her. It’s a really comfort to know that there are some caring people out there still. Thanks again.

I have had lots of great nights out in Astoria with my mates. We always end up going back. Definitely a great nightclub to go to in Portsmouth. It’s a big club with different rooms, the basement, main floor in Astoria, lots of bars, garden bit and connected with Tokyo Joes on a Friday and Saturday. Gives you a choice of what music you want to listen too and where you want to go.

Worst night ever. When we arrived all the cloakroom was full and even people taken out coat we will be refused with no logical explanation. We were there one hour and was on the way to one room when one of the bouncer grabbed us and push us out with no explanation. The bouncer don't even approach us nicely and not even said a word,  just pushed us out. Very disappointed. Wish I can give a minus. And after this bad experience I can't even report the bouncer as no name badge. People go out to party to enjoy themselves not to meet frustrated and controlmaniac bouncers whom use their power just they can.

Amazing night last night, bar staff were kind, bouncers were helpful and the night was very on theme with halloween. Was jam packed with people in there best halloween outfits, 100% can’t wait to do it all over again next year!!

the first time i went my friend was kicked out for falling over on their wet stairs when she was “being too drunk”, in actual fact she was sober, ruining my birthday. i gave them a second chance and they kicked my boyfriend out, not realising they got the wrong guy, refusing to talk to me.

Might be a great place to go clubbing, but I think anyone who stays at the hotel across the road would want it shut down and never to reopen. I know I do.

The new disco garden is absolutely incredible plus 2 other different rooms of music. With 4 bars in the venue me and my friends didn’t queue long at the bar either! You won't be disappointed! Great entertainment. Staff were very polite and happy to cater to all our needs, plus a great variety of drinks options! 5/5

Amazing night out for all. Busiest club in South Coast. 3 music rooms, 4 bars on a Friday linked with the famous Mr miyagi's which gives you 4 music rooms 5 bars. You won't be disappointed! Great entertainment. Me and my friends love going here by far the best.
