Great pub one of Edinburgh's finest. Good range of beers and first class service.
Great bartenders, sports usually on TV. Jukebox is usually occupied so you'll get a steady stream of music! The boss here's really nice too, really like his recommendation for whiskey Aberlour 10yo, instantly my new favourite! Pictures were the recommendation of one of the bartenders didn't get his name, sadly.
It is so close to the centre of the city, but it is a real local. I go to the fringe most years and normally stay nearish to here. I found the Artisan last year and fell instantly in love with it. Good location, service and surroundings. Great local, great welcome.

A great pub! We were there during the afternoon and met open minded and very likable locals. We had a blast!
Love Artie as its one of few pubs that haven't really changed. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Good beers and great selection of Malt whisky.
Old school..... nice and friendly Great choice of lovely drink support your pub folks
Very welcoming while being mildly annoyed with my drunken family several nights in a row. Nice selection of single malts at more than reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
