Story

We are proud to be called one of Southampton's best, and certainly cosiest, music venues. We are fortunate to have hosted some of the top musical talents in the world - the sort of performers that are not necessarily household names, but that fall into the 'musicians musician' or 'on their way up' category. They range from the highly acclaimed in both the musical press and music festival reviews, to backroom-pioneers.

We are also very lucky to have the support of an amazing local music scene - watch this space for news of some startling Southampton acts, many of whom we will be hearing about in the years to come in the media and at festivals.

At our gigs, you can get close up and personal in our 'living room like' space upstairs, with soundproofed walls and the very best in PA equipment and sound engineering. We are know for being a venue where musicians 'get heard' - we invariably have an attentive audience, and with our bar downstairs, not too much distracting chatter from the back!

We always plug the bejesus out of the bands that come and play here - we feel this is an important role for venues. Most bands will find their Facebook Page Likes going up before a gig here.
