Ordered the king Prawn from the specials menu. At nearly £16.00 for a main course, I got 4 prawns and salad! Called waitress and expressed my disappointment. Had the Wagyu burger instead. All staff were very professional and courteous at all times. They're hands are tied by constraints of the chain. Great service, okay food.

I have been to The Arkley several times and has been excellent. I went on mother’s day with my Mum and partner, when we arrived I thought the guy who showed us to the table was not the most helpful guy. We told him that my partner has some allergies so he went and got a book with all allergies after studying the book she wanted to check the meal she choose with the chef but was told they were to busy. We ordered our food but waited a long time I know it was busy but it was a long time. When the food did come on my partners meal was food we told them she was allergic to so she could not eat the meal and had no convedence in staff chefs so she did not eat any food. Also my mums meal was not hot. When we were asked after if we wanted a desert my mum said no she does not want to wait another hour for the food. Such a shame as like I said been before and been excellent 😔

Ha a homemade soup followed by an amazing sticky duck salad. I think to call it a salad is a miss-representation it was delicious ribbons of cucumber and carrots

It's not my first visit to the Arkley. The staff are very warm, welcoming, helpful and courteous. Service was prompt. It was altogether a wholesome experience.
