Lovely building, friendly staff but unfortunately our food let it down. We visited on a Sunday lunchtime and chose the roast beef and the lamb shank. The beef was cut far too thick and was extremely tough. The accompanying vegetables resembled frozen from a packet as was the Yorkshire pudding. The meal did not resemble the photo on the website. Our starter of terrine wasn't terrine it was pate and the pickles were just some bits of sliced gherkin. Very disappointing. Probably will not go again

The staff were fantastic but food was terrible. They ran out of roasts, only had 2 staff in there to serve a busy restaurant and when we ordered other dishes like the lamb shank or the beef wellington there was none left. It's such a nice setting but so disappointed with the food!!

Been three times now. First time was very good. Second time average. We went last Friday. Terrible. Had to send food back. Steak was terrible. Meant to be served with sure potatoes came with boiled. Didn't even ask if wanted fries instead. Will not be returning. Shame because it is a really nice setting.

Wow!!! What a burger!!! This is my second visit to Hadley house and I've been very happy with the service and quality of the food on both occasions. Both times have been during the day and it has been quite. The lunch menu is great value and the burger in the pictures was from the a la carte menu. Still good value. I would definitely recommend Hadley house and I will definitely be back myself.
