Today went to the ark. Nothing nice on the menu to have for lunch. Only snaxs. So had chunky chicken soup. The chunks were dried over cooked chicken and the soup clear like it had been made with a powder . Disgusting. I will definitely not be ordering food again .the bread on the side was one piece of thin white sliced bread. Same quality as the soup. Yuck !!!!

Our children loved this when it was Gus Gorillas and now our grandchildren when they visit us love to come here. We all love the railway so when the children have finished at the Ark, off we go to the Poole Park Railway. Happy memories and mow new ones

I love it here. The kids can't get out as the gate is manually operated so you can have a coffee and not have to worry too much if your child is out of sight. There isn't a limit of how long you can stay so £5 is a good price considering you could stay all day. They also sell socks in case you need to go in and haven't brought your own! They also do private parties.

Pretty limited choice, coffee barely ok. Very noisy, not at all peaceful. Great if you bring the kids for the play area, but if you want a more peaceful experience try The Kitchen restaurant next to the boating lake, a much more relaxing place.

Very relaxed and low key cafe with some nice views of the lake. Crockery and cutlery starting to look a bit tired but coffees and cakes all tasty.
