Amazing park. It has lots to offer for everyone. It is well maintained by the council. There are plenty of benches to take in the sights and the plants. There are lots of gardens dotted around with lots of plants. It is wonderful and all for free.nnThere is free parking. Park run starts here. There is yoga. There is a very reasonably priced pitch and put approx £4.50 per adult. Although it is small, it is very challenging and enjoyable. There is a giant children playground. There is a miniature railway that you can ride round. There is a Watersports centre. There are several cafes as well as an ice cream parlour. There are public toilets and free parking.nnThis is an amazing place to chill, take you dog for a walk and just simply enjoy the sunset. All for free.
An amazing Park, we have little to compare to this Park in the entire West Midlands.nnThis Park has two coffee shops, a soft play, pottery barn, water sports, pedalos, two play areas, gardens and fountain, and railway.nnWe arrived early and found parking easy to come by, but as we left approx. Midday the car parks for very full.nnI simply cannot recommend this Park highly enough.
The main large lake is nice but unfortunately the smaller lakes that I once used to enjoy peacefully standing near the bank watching the baby ducks and geese is no longer enjoyable or peaceful. This is because they have moved the railway track 23/24 closer to the lake and it now takes up most of the previously green grass and banks at the lake edge. New born geese, ducks and humans have to walk over the railway track and avoid the train which is quite annoying and the peace of nature is replaced by a train going round and honking its horn every 5 minutes. The small lakes seem also dirty and stagnant and uncared for. Unfortunately the council seems to have put monetisation for humans a priority at the detriment of environment for nature. I will go here less now and would not recommend it for nature enthusiasts or people seeking a relaxing environment.
Lovely park, cafe, ice cream. Playground, watersports, and boats. Benches to sit, Parking on site.
A beautiful place for a walk with kids, dogs, friends, alone. You can rent SUP or a boat, 2 different playgrounds and a mini train to ride, ice cream shops, restaurants, indoor playground, we have spent all day here...
