One of the nicest parks in Poole. Boating lakes, miniature railway, picnic areas, cafes, plenty of parking and a good amount of bird life. 
Top tip: avoid the north side of the park by the cricket pitch as usually popular with college kids, the south side by the water is much nicer anyway.

Nice cycle path, shared with walkers .. however cyclist beware of some dog owners who let there untrained dogs 🐕 run in front of your bike's 🚵🚴🚵🚴. The ones with the long retractable leads are probably worse cos you can avoid running into the dogs but you end up getting tangled in the blooming long string that spans across the cycle path .. urrhhggg 🙁 .. other than that it is a lovely cycle path ☺
