Had dinner last night in this restaurant and what an experience. I honestly can say I haven’t had a nicer meal in a very long time. I would go as far to say it’s the BEST restaurant now in Co Down. The food is fresh and great quality. The staff are so friendly and nothing is a problem to them.

I went to The Aniseed lounge with family and friends for dinner and I have to say it was amazing!! Everyone enjoyed their meal, the portions are perfect. I had the pork belly and it melted in my mouth. The starter and the desert were just as good. The service is spot on and the food didn't take long to come. Later on that night the chef came down to make sure everything went alright which shows that he cares about what he does. All in all I don't think there is anything bad I can say apart from the light bulbs that hang in the middle are just a little to bright.

We had dinner here tonight.  The menu is well thought out with something for everyone, everything was perfectly cooked and there is certainly not skimping on portion size.  There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere inside with friendly attentive staff.  All in all I would confidently recommend The Aniseed Lounge for a meal and/or a relaxed drink with family and friends

Just had the best meal in a long time!
We had 4 exceptional meals and starters and the service and staff were superb! 
Looking forward to the next time!

I went in and had the discount menu...£12 for 2 courses and a pint...WOW!...stunning food,an unbelievable bargain at that price  and as a traveller through the area with a million questions I was very well looked after...its not on my doorstep sadly but if it was I would be going back time and time again.😊
