First time, certainly not our last.  Service and food, both excellent.  100% if your a first timer.. go for the fish and chip , you will not be disappointed.  Parking: There are some free spaces at the front, but the car park to the side is paid parking. Just be sure to check the times on the meter when you are using it.

I have had good fish n chip take outs about 3 times i called. Satisfied well.Food: 4/5

Best chips I had in my life and  superb staff.

Just got a cod supper; fish was very thin and more greasy than anything I’ve had in my life, about as much flavour as a piece of cardboard. Chips were alright given the greasy fish had been sitting on top diffusing oil like it’s going out of fashion. I can still feel the oil coated around my mouth, I will not be returning.

Lovely food that tastes how it should.  Good value,  pleasant atmosphere and staff. Ordering is easy and well organised. Car park right beside the shop.

I bought two fish suppers from Shelly's on Sunday evening.  The staff were very diligent about checking the fish was cooked as they kept sticking temperature probes into to them. Unfortunately the fish was overcooked, very dry and almost tasteless. The batter was the same, quite rubbery and not at all crispy as it should be.  The chips were even worse as they had clearly been cooked at least half an hour before I arrived. I could see the little retaining basin where they were scooped from.  When I arrived it was full of chips. They had been kept warm but were unpleasant unappetising.  I only ate a few of them.

Have been going to this place since it was just a wee van. Food and staff are lovely. Their cod is massive and you always get a good amount of chips. Favourite place to eat and very handy.

By far the worst chippy I have had the displeasure of wasting my hard earned money at, disgusting....
