We went to the Primrose last Wednesday for an evening meal and had a great time. The food was exceptional, my son had the steak and said it was the best he has had in a long, long time. I had the scampi special which was delicious. Desserts were super and are currently free on a Wednesday. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was impeccable as always, so friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
Wow! Amazing - walking in you arrive in a relaxed, warm and friendly atmosphere. The choice wasn't too much ot too little. Staff friendly, attentive but not over the top. Portion size brilliant and the tastes fantastic. Bang bang chicken was bang on and the lamb shank just fell off the bone..... honestly one of the best meals and venues. Well worth the journey from Bangor.
A friend and I went for lunch on a Saturday and didn't want to leave. No one was breathing down our necks, it wasn't cramped and rushed or noisy even though it was busy and there was someone at the table next to us! We felt completely relaxed and the food was delicious. I got the pastrami and she got the pitta. 10/10. Chips were top notch no need to ask for them to be cooked properly because they were Toilets were pristine. Staff lovely, welcoming and friendly, food was quick to arrive. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten-free options!
Such a lovely pub! Stopped in Ballynahinch for a wee bite and we weren't disappointed! One of the nicest toasties I've had in a long time! The staff was very friendly and quick and the pub is just lovely!Food: 5/5

Just had a lovely meal 5 adults and a child. Great service, lovely hot food, delicious desserts. Kids menu and desserts were great. Recommend and will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Crayons and separate child's menu.
Fantastic food, great setting and wonderful service, hard to beat, carryout service is available if you're not feeling sociable, and now lunchtime opening, has been a favourite of ours for years and never fails to impress. Parking: If you get stuck for on street parking there's a pay and display carpark in windmill St. 5 min walk or less Kid-friendliness: Children are well looked after here
We went for afternoon lunch and some drinks. Food was nice. Good service. It's like an old pub vibe. Could do with a bit of an upgrade. I'm not sure if it's where we sat but it lacked some music. We will try here again if travelling through or staying near Ballynahinch.Food: 4/5
