The Anglesey Hotel, sits on the end of, what is, one of the most iconic rows of Georgian houses...a la Royal Crescent, Bath...in Hampshire. Superb location. Can only comment on the bar as I didn't stay or eat here. Lovely old world feel, very laid back, friendly staff, nice locals. Couldn't get WiFi? Decent enough menu and reasonable prices. Not sure if they have a car park, but it wasn't a problem to park on the street.

Small rooms. Quite expensive for what you get. I would only stay there for work purposes. Dont be misled, the staff are nice though and catered for me as required.

Enjoyed a really relaxing stay at this charming and comfortable hotel. Approachable staff, well proportioned and clean rooms. We had room 208 at the back of the hotel but with views out toward Portsmouth. Good breakfast, only observation was it took 40 minutes to arrive. Have previously visited the bar and enjoyed quality food/meals at reasonable prices. If you are staying in the area, you will not go wrong here.

Ale was nice and clean. Food was tremendous had duck terrine, steak and the peanut butter and toffee cheesecake. Which I definitely recommend. Steak was cooked perfectly and staff were warm and friendly.
