Magnificent period house, with warm, comfortable & clean rooms. Ian & Sandra are wonderful hosts and laid out a beautiful traditional English breakfast; the locally smoked haddock with a perfectly poached egg - was delicious. The owners are long-term Berwickers & as such, have a wealth of local history to tell. They made my time in Berwick even more enjoyable as I learnt so much about the intriguing history of this fascinating town. I would highly recommend a stay at The Anchorage

An excellent B&B run by the friendly and welcoming Ian & Sandra.  Our double room was very clean & spacious and came with en-suite shower room, free wi-fi, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water & biscuits.  Off street parking is provided free of charge.
        The location is spot on, just next to town centre with the bars, shops and restaurants all within easy reach. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice including 4 or 5 different cereals, grapefruit, yoghurt,  fruit juice,  & the usual full english which by the way is excellent and plentiful.  There was also toast and the usual tea & coffee to drink.
        All in all a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Just had a 3 night break staying at The Anchorage Guest House in Berwick- upon- Tweed.Very comfortable, clean and more than you can eat breakfast,made to feel very welcome by Sandra and Ian.Magnificent staircase !! will certainly visit again.
