On the whole a good place to go. Most staff are friendly and efficient.  Food is usually very good apart from the chips as there are never decent quality.

The place itself could do with a refresh as it's looking rather tired now.

Very hit and miss. Sometimes great pub. Other times madness. Really needs a facelift.

What's not to like, a great selection of beers and good value food. Some quieter areas for a good chat and a catch-up too

Staff are friendly, apart from Fridays and Saturdays. One bouncer, who quite frankly is an absolute authority freak.. any sort of noise, or banter between me and my friends will result in a telling off “you can do this outside”, instead of politely asking us to keep it down..  Yesterday was the final straw, we were just having a laugh between us and i would like to add, not loud at all. Yet again he comes over and is rude. We all laughed at him, necked our pints and walked out. Completely ruins the atmosphere and I would rather drink elsewhere. 

I.E the Old Manor, were the bouncers arent evil dictators and actually allow us to have a good time!
