Great fish shop, nice friendly people. Great value sized cod which isn't dripping in grease like some other Admiral shops. I usually just ring them to preorder a cod and it's ready with a smile when I arrive. Really nicely cooked fish. Parking: Usually easier to park in Aldi and have a short walk but never really had a problem parking near shop Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp into shop.
Back after 32 years that’s true and the Admiral is still the best Fish&Chips ever. Huge fish, very fresh and tasty. Perfectly prepared.Food: 5/5
I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt obliged in this instance. I drive a good 20 mins to visit this chippy every now and again, and by golly is it worth it. I ordered a small cod special and, to be quite frank, during a cost of living crisis, the portion size has got to be the best pound for pound fish out there. Not only that, the fillets are clearly very fresh and extremely delicious. I added some chicken meat on this occasion, as it’s always very tasty. The chips are always very crisp, and I would personally recommend the curry sauce. Finally, their staff, especially Monika, always have a smile on their faces - which makes the visit at the end of the working day all the more worth it.
In all honesty, I've not been a big fan of the Admiral for a while now. I think the quality of food and the service has been slipping for a couple of years. Having said that, my wife called in to pick up tea one day last week because I had been working late, and I was very pleasantly surprised. There appears to have been a big change, and it is definitely for the good. I had a special kebab, which now comes in a box and not the polystyrene trays as before. To be honest, I couldn't fault it. The chicken wasn't wet and slimy as I had previously experienced, there was plenty of salad which they had appeared to have cut back on quite a lot, and the pitta bread was light and fluffy and not hard and dry. It was not what I was expecting at all, but I hope this is a permanent change. Well done Admiral, keep it up.
Just delivered down the road from The Admiral, it brought back memories as my in-laws lived in the area a number of years ago. The best bit the staff as friendly the food as I remember Top notch. The choices on the boards have you wondering, when in the area again definitely will stop off for dinner
50p for a tray Jesus so much for cost a living crisis now put 1 star on got a recipe this shop don't like reviews then calls you out love how you keep changing your comments first you say I had a kebab on cctv then deleted now I am 00.9 who pays for tray don't judge your customer there's a recite black and white simply only 50p under stand that but don't judge me as I am liar that wi I give one star
The manager Monica is a lovely person,she exemplifies how proffessional a service this place is.wonderful.I travel from Eckington specialy although Mosborough is nearer,but not as good.Food: 5/5

Always a good experience, but the service could be quicker. Always have to wait for the fish to be cooked. It's supposed to be a fast food place. On a night they know it's going to be high demand, surely a stock of fish should be waiting already cooked, to achieve a fast turnaround.Food: 5/5
