Story

We would like to welcome you to our restaurant. For over 15 years the Akhtar’s family have been providing the best possible service to our clientele. We have chosen this restaurant for its warmth and pleasant atmosphere.

As an addition to our excellent menu, we now have traditional ‘grills and steaks’ cooked on a charcoal grill to tickle your taste buds.

To compliment the atmosphere and the excellent food, we have hand picked all staff for their friendly and helpful nature. Akhtars wish you the very best dining experiences.

Visited last night. 8 of us. Amazing service, staff had a laugh and joke with us. Food was really nice, prices very reasonable with rice being included in the meals. Regular drinks offered too. Will definitely be back. 10/10 for recommendation.
Amazing food and Service, definitely recommend
We have visited the restaurant on many of occasions, each time we are greeted & treat with fabulous friendly service. The food is always incredibly delicious & freshly made. The king prawn shashlick & Akhtars special are 2 of my most favourite dishes.Food: 5/5
I've only rated 4 as I've never dined here, but that aside the food is fantastic, the service is too notch and the prices more than fair, there are only 3 indian restaurant's I go to, this is the main one, the first I will always try writing this also makes me want to go and order from here, it's that nice! Parking: Parking is for customers only across a few food shops in the location, around the back of the buildings, but there is not much and is a bit of a weird lay out.
Been a few times. Never been dissatisfied with meal. Took our chance dropping in on Saturday night and they were able to accommodate. Meal and service great as always.
The place and the food is brilliant! I had the best curry in my life. The staff is kind and helpful and for the quality of the food the price is cheap. If you in the city this is the place you should try

Had an order today, taken it out of the plastic bag with food still in paper bag then bottom of the bag fell out ended up with food all over the floor phoned them up and they resent my full order without hesitation. no ones fault just one of those things that happens from time to time. Great food, Great service, Will definitely be ordering again in future!!
I only been ta few times as I only found out about the place the other month and I have to say. The food is fresh. generously sized portions and tastes as good as a curry can get. Very busy place so that says it all and the staff are very friendly and polite and that helps create a great atmosphere. This is the place for me from now on
