I had my first parents evening at school on 22/9/16 I was made to feel welcome I was given time to talk to my sons teachers his form tutor could of not been more helpful,I and my son were told that we could talk to her any time it's a very refreshing change . From the moment we walked in TAG to register my son,we had only just moved to the area but they could of not been more helpful from been messed about from another school for ten weeks my son and I walked out of TAG knowing that the following week he had a school to go to but a school that I felt would suit my son and help him to get ware he wants to be in life and after parents evening any concerns I had were gone. My son wants to go to school loves school and he looks so smart in his uniform, I don't know how they teach my son but what ever they are doing its working I have even noticed a difference in my son at home I guess happy at school happy at home he likes all his teachers that in itself is unusual but 10/10 TAG you are doing right by my son thank you
Been here for over a year now and I have to say it's the best decision I have ever made in my life to move here. The teachers are all so supportive and they truly care for the students. Unlike other school in the area, at TAG you can be who you want to be and you are not isolated for stupid things like having your hair dyed or piercings, they care more about how well you are doing in school and how you are doing. I came to TAG before Ofsted visited and we where classed as an outstanding school and I'm so glad I did. I thought before that it was school that I hated but it wasn't school in general it was the school I was at before because now I actually like coming to school. It is a shame that it is only for years 10 and 11 but I would for sure move to TAG if you have the choice because it's by far the best school in the area for me!
Since my son first started nursery he came home depressed and sad . He has never shown any interest in school at all . He had a lot of problems with bullying ECT. He started TAG in September, he comes home engaged , happy , willing . Enjoying all his lessons . Big thank you too all the teachers Marcia Woodall johnson
If I could give minus stars on this review I would. What an absolute joke this 'school' is. They have let down the year 11s.
