Thames Dry Cleaning Ltd

I have used this service regular for 2 years now, have had an excellent service, items are cleaned and pressed perfectly and are worth the price as the dry cleaner down the road on marsh farm,who are cheaper but have ruined a few of my garments before I found Thames. This proves the fact that you pay for what you get,high quality high standard dry cleaning for a reasonable price. I recommend eveybody to use this dry cleaner.

I sent an £85 dress here to be dry cleaned, which only needed freshening up for a wedding. When the dress was returned to me it had a black mark on it which hadn't been there before, and they charged me £16.50 for the cleaning. I sent it back to be cleaned again and when they came back to me saying the mark couldn't be removed, I was offered £20 worth of cleaning vouchers - as if I would ever use them again! Needless to say I checked my cosumer rights and am currently trying to get the cost of the dress and cleaning back. Which Thames seem to think is unreasonable, I have only been met with rudeness and obstruction. They don't even deserve the one star I have to give them.

I have visited Thmas dry cleaning on a couple of occasions and have found them really expensive in fact a total rip off. I took a two piece suit in which i needed next day and they charged me £16.00. whereas if i had taken it to the one on Marsh road it would have been £6 same day. To add insult to injury the suit wasnt even ready when I went in to get it. On another occasion I went to pick my suit up on the way home from work and didnt have my ticket on me, the guy behind the counter said I'd need to get or they'll charge me a fiver fine. My wife then enquired on a price over the phone for a babies jacket and they told her £12. Need I say more. Take my advice avoid this place like the plague.
