Clean World

I use this wash and dry every time before I flight from Luton and it quite regular and I'm always happy with them.

Very nice people, friendly and considerate they stayed open after hours so i could finish washing my clothes and drying my duvets, lots of machines to use and dryers are good, i would definitely recommend using this laundrette.

Would not recommend the dry cleaning service.... I had a fur gillet that is quite old but non the less needed dry cleaning ready for winter.... as it was a bit matted around the pockets I had the lady write on the note that the dry cleaner contacted me to let me know how it would dry clean or if it could dry clean..at the same time I took in a woollen coat.. I had no phone call until someone rang to ask when I would be collecting the items.... as I was at the shops I went in and spoke to an Asian lady and said about the gillet. I said I will be back to collect my woolen coat but not the fur gillet because it was still matted after an apparent dry clean and I specifically asked to be contacted. I went back to collect my woolen coat and again had to explain the whole situation to a man that was there .... he said fine should we send your gillet to a charity shop? I said do what ever you want with it all I know is I am not paying for it! I went in yesterday to take my daughters uniform for a dry clean, the same Asian lady watched me for about a minute then took out the same tatty gillet and said I have to pay for it.... I said no I don't because I've had this conversation twice before and it's my rights that I don't have to pay after you guys didn't follow instruction. Again she watched me to which I said I will take my custom and money somewhere else as I shouldn't have to put up with it she replied that's good do that! I don't know where the nice lady that's always been there has gone but the new people there have really brought down the tone and customer service.... I've lived on Farley hill for 25years and have never had problems with the laundrette or dry cleaners which even my mum and sister use, until these new people have taken over.

Avoid. The collection date/time promises are not kept. Overall service is poor.

Staffed for the majority of the day. The machines actually spin your clothes, unlike the ones in Round Green! Plenty of washing machines and driers so you probably wouldn't have to wait long for one if busy. Powder available to buy on site, useful if you forget yours. They also offer service wash / dry options. Worth visiting from the other side of town.
