I just went to this place tonight and had a great masaman and my wife a lovely red curry. I was shocked to see the bad reviews this place has had before as it was a great little place with very tasty food for what was a cheap price. £30 with 2 mains and 2 starters. I think it is better than the Lemongrass where you don't feel like you can sit down and relax as they have benches. Well the Thai Orchid was a bit of a surprise as I wasn't expecting much, but it is a really good basic Thai. P.S. The Thai beef salad was was pretty damn good for all of £4.50!! :-

Below average food. The massaman curry that my friend ordered did not come with any nuts! The place charges a premium, but their food is nowhere close to being worth it. Disappointing. When my friend asked, they said that's how a massaman curry is supposed to be. Haa!

We entered the restaurant, received no attention. So we seated ourselves, then tried to get someones attention, to no avail. Got our own menus. Received the most disgusting warm rose i have ever had and then asked that we could leave as all the food coming out looked gross and the diners next to us were already complaining about theirs.  It's a no go.

This place is truly awful, avoid it like the plague. The food was absolutely disgusting. Please don't ruin your day by eating here.
