Went here yesterday with some close friends for a get together and I can only say positive things. Our server Autumn was lovely, chatty and friendly. Nothing seemed like too much of a problem for them to do for us. Dani, who brought over some of our order, was also right friendly. Food was grand, first beef burger I've had in a long while and I enjoyed it. Desserts good too! Would reccomend and go back again if I was in Newcastle. :
Took family for a meal after the match, food was average and the service was great. I asked for my steak rare, but it came over cooked, it wasn't a nice cut of sirloin either, very tough. It was well presented though and the service was excellent. The kids had wings and fries, which were great, as was my wife's halloumi. Might try again.
Server was friendly, and not his fault but service was slow. Other staff were a little inattentive and gloomy. Sesame chicken was very good. Lettuce on the side was not fresh. Cleaning liquids and other materials on the next table to ours. Overall, they need to step up their game.
We were a group of 5 for bottomless brunch: unfortunately there just wasn't enough food we were all still starving afterwards. Find it a bit annoying that group of 5 gets same amount of food as a group of 4 would get yet we still paid for 5 heads? Cocktails were nice but they took so long to arrive only had time for a few before the 2 hours were up. Won't be back as just not worth it for what you get in here : staff nice enough but they seemed to be in no rush to take the empty glasses away
The food was great and the staff were lovely. Was a very chilled out vibe which was nice. Also came out cheaper then I expected!Food: 5/5
Good food and drinks , little disappointed In the service , arrived and was told the heating was broken which was fine but it seemed like the host was trying to scare people off , ordered relatively quickly , unfortunately got served food before drink despite the restaurant being relatively empty, then I realised my food hadn’t come with the correct fries , we had no check backs through starters or mains to bring up the error , it wasn’t a big deal so I ate them regardless however I was still charged for them on my bill at the end. This was solved when brought up with staff but just felt things could’ve gone better.
I had never visited TGI Fridays before and was with a group of people who wanted to eat there so I was looking forward to it. I was initially disappointed upon entering as I felt that the Interior was quite generic and I could have been in any big chain. My disappointment was soon dismissed though, as the quality of service, friendliness of staff and quality of food was excellent. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and was attentive to us throughout the meal. I had the sesame chicken strip starter and a glazed burger main and I was very impressed with the taste and quantity of the food. I left full up and satisfied.
Came in at 9:40, asked if they was still serving food to which they said yes they stop at 10. They told us they didn’t have a table for 7 so we would have to sit in a 3 and a 4 at the opposite side of the restaurant. We said this was fine. Got seated and we was 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant with several free tables big enough for us throughout. Food was Luke warm, whole experience made us feel like they didn’t want us there. Wouldn’t return
Our visit on Tuesday 4th was fabulous! The food we received was delicious, and the fantastic view made our time there extra special. The restaurant was clean, and the lady that served us was extremely polite and professional. We will most certainly call in for lunch at this establishment soon.
We arrived and was approached by a lovely kind waitress who took us to our seat/table handed us menus . 20 minutes later I ask a another member of staff who was cleaning tables if I could place my order or at least drinks order she said she will get table service to take our order however 20 minutes after that we still sat with no drinks no acknowledgement and no food . 40 minutes we sat for no reason so we left without being asked if we needed or would like anything . As we left the same girl who seated us thank us for coming and to enjoy our evening. I guess she was unaware we were walking out with zero service .
