Visited TG this week to purchase our garden flag’s and wood to build a shed. Was greeted by Craig from the dream patio area who was very friendly and extremely helpful. Nothing was a problem fantastic service.
Great advice given by helpful and friendly staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Delivery was prompt and the driver was friendly and chatty. Would recommend.

Terrible experience with this supplier, as a small scale trades person!!. I have been a builder for almost 30 years but am new to this area. Beginning a small scale project, with material cost estimated at somewhere around £5000. But my first order, I only wanted 2 sheets of ply wood. To big for my car, but the project is approx only 300 yards away from TG yard in Northwich. I was amazed to see they were going to charge £18 delivery When I queried this charge I was given a flat 'No' to any negotiation of delivery charge. I have worked on the Serial in the building sector for almost 30 years, and I have always been able to build a great rapport with suppliers, and they have always supported local trades persons, but not with TG! I bought 4 items of electrical supplies last week from CEF, about 1 Mike away from the project, and they offered a free delivery without me even asking. I do understand that logistics have to be paid for, but the prices at TG are not even very competitive, but I wanted to use them all they are so close. But I simply won't be able to with an £18 delivery charge for every item. I am very disappointed, so much so that I have decided to leave this post! Terrible service!!
Good local builders merchants with a good selection of goods. Patio centre is great and at good prices. We also use their cement division for doing our extension, screed and building work foundstions and very good service , advice and pricing. Assured Concrete Pumping in Weaverham is great to use if concrete is to be pumped.
The shop staff are so rude in the way that they treat the customers. It doesn't take much to say thank you and be more helpful, even have a nice day. Being pleasant well make customers return. I won't be returning unless I really need to, on a positive side the guys in the yard are great.

I'd like to say a big thank you to T & G Builders, today the weather took a quick turn with frost and snow, and my car could not make it over the bridge as my car wheels was spinning, these guys came over and brought some sand to put under my wheels, which got me going again, so I'm so grateful to you, not just a great business to buy from Have a wonderful
Great products and staff , a bit of an error on there part cost me time money on a job , they have been really understanding and sorted out the correct materials taking responsibility which is a refreshing change , competitive prices and really helpful manager and staff , usually a list of excuses from competitors in the area regardless of money spent . My customer and I have really appreciated the way tg resolved the situation highly recommend
Update to information. As we all know building material costs have risen dramatically over the last 2 years however this branch of builders merchants remain overly expensive and uncompetitive where as other builders merchants are more value for money regardless of the size of your company or how much you spend with them. Even B&Q are much cheaper than TG builders merchants these days. And that says a lot........... Local depot of the TG group. It has grown over the years and is a modern builders merchants. Large yard and warehouses and large shop. They accept cash, debit/credit cards or account be that a cash account or a credit account. Delivery available as well as collection. You can not pay over the phone here. The staff are helpful here. Open to the trade and general public.
Really good service I'd highly recommend and will definitely use in the future the hiab driver is a credit to tg builders very helpful
