Always helpful, decent prices, gas, logs, post office, all the usual. Note, this is the station IN Penryn, Not the one on Treluswell roundabout which has to be the most expensive in the area for fuel!
My nearest local shop while it is a petrol station and has petrol station prices they are not that bad for some food items and what they stick sometimes blows me away . this is not Asda or Tesco .. who would expect those prices from a petrol station shop .. but I have been ill and survived off of top up shops here 2/3 times a week .. ie bread , milk etc I do not drive so for me to go to a bigger shop it is £8 taxi fare each way or £3 bus .. sometimes it's about weighing up the whole picture lol . The staff are friendly enough considering the high volumes of customers they see each day . Never had a problem and when I needed help they were very helpful .
Cheapest petrol we'd seen while on holiday in the area Some of the pumps were out of order, but the ship was well stocked and the staff polite and friendly.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried to use the parcel shop drop off, and was told that they wouldn't take the 8 parcels and one they wouldn't take as it was a bit bigger and heavier. Actively told me to take my business elsewhere! All by the miserable old bat in the Londis t-shirt, not the actual Texaco staff who are usually great! This isn't the first time that we've had an attitude from the old bat - apparently despite being a shop offering services she doesn't want any customers to actually us it...
I have never, ever encountered a work place with such abysmal customer service. I was struggling to put fuel in my car and instead of helping me the large, stumpy woman in the garage was screaming and shouting at me from her pen next to the till. Avoid this place like the plague!
Rating actually 0 Dropped a Hermes parcel here today, my 4th. and wasn’t first time that I have received aggressive nasty behaviour from “Bernal” if she is actually called that . Clearly is a drop off point but she does not want you to drop even 1 parcel here!! I will be speaking to Hermes and this lady need a change of career . She threw it on the floor and told me I was a nuisance. She told me not to come back!! Her colleague just stood and watched her abuse a member of the public! I’m trying to find the owner as they need to do something!! Very sad and actually very upsetting. I will take my business elsewhere like she asked!
