Having a partner take you home to meet the family is a big moment isn’t it? It’s considered an important moment in a relationship. Not only do you want them to like you but you also want you to like them. Can I see myself spending a Christmas with your mum? Would I want to marry you if I knew your dad would give a speech at our wedding? Will I be able to be myself around these people?nnBut here I found myself, in this big Tesco with Newt’s mum, dad, and sister. We drove all the way to the big Tesco because I love a big Tesco so much.nnIt’s huge. 33 isles! The security guard told me off for lingering at the entrance in awe. So many people go to this Tesco every day and don’t take any time to admire how wonderful it is. How this Tesco feeds so many people. How this Tesco stocks so many thousands of different products. How this Tesco meets so many needs for so many people. How exciting it is to take a moment to marvel at mundanity.nnI know I’m unusual, I know I’m not everyone’s taste. I know lots of people just wouldn’t get me, but Newt’s family seems to. I bought a Tesco value hoodie for myself and some oat milk for the food bank.
A good-sized Tesco store with a large car park.nn Disabled and Parent & Child parking spaces are close to the entrance.nn ATMs are next to the store entrance.nn Toilets are located just inside the entrance.nn This store has a petrol station.nn This store has a hand car wash.nnThe store opening hours are....nnMonday-Saturdayn8am to 11pmnnSundayn11am to 5pmnnI regularly use the Pick and Collect service, I rarely have to queue, and missing items are now very unusual. The staff are normally very friendly and efficient.nnJust remember that you need to bring your own bags, as they aren't available at Tesco now!
I like Tesco they have a lovely selection from food to bathroom item's to kitchen equipment everything under one roof.
Hardly Tesco fault the car park exit delays today when it was Thames Water that dug up the junction then stopped working! Very frustrating as I could not even get my car out of the disabled bay so have given up and will collect it later. Had to get someone to pick me up on the main road. The management could not wave a magic wand to get it all moving and people needed to stop being aggressive towards others!
