Big problems with fresh produce.nBananas and oranges are typically rotten.nStill marked up at full price. Be very careful, as almost every pack of oranges will have rotten fruit within. Noticed that the potatoes and bread spoil unusually quickly, too.nA lack of alternatives locally.nAdditionally, a lot of products appear to be short-dated. I have left the store with goods that were outdated within a day. Occasionally, I have been stung with buying outdated goods.nNot what one would expect from a supermarket chain the size of Tesco.nnI used to work at a Tesco store. The quality of product at this store is particularly low.nSeems to be a trend across Devon.nSupply issues?nWhy are they not reducing prices on fresh produce, even after the flies have started swarming?nnHopefully, the new Aldi will provide fresher produce. Aldi's meat is certainly better quality.nI find myself avoiding Tesco despite a need for food at home.nnStaff are very friendly and helpful.nParking is adequate.nPay at pump fuel reasonably priced, but excludes people who require cash services.nA single cash machine, which has been unavailable for use - which almost denied the shopping I had travelled to do there is another cash machine on the high street - approximately 7 minute walk away.nnI think 2/5 stars is a fair score, all things considered.
Staff very helpful, but I won't be shopping in tesco again,nDid self scanning as I was in a hurry, but still managed to scan extra things that I hadn't intending to buy totalled up to £75 when I got to checkout was picked out for a random check which I don't mind as they normally only check 3 or 4 items but this time it was my hole shop,I don't steal so I had nothing to hide but I was short of timenTESCOS you want people to use self checkout to save yourself money on staff costs. But I for one won't be using your stores again because of your lack of trust
Left feeling very upset. They treated me like a criminal. I was followed and had my shopping checked.... suprise, suprise, I hadn't stolen anything because I'm not a thief. I was then followed out to the car park. Hostile staff. Be more subtle.
I find it normally ok where we live came down to Seaton devon and headed to Tesco firstly you walk past dying plants on display nobody cares for them or waters the plants empty shelves in areas but more that I find it annoying when they keep moving items around and you can’t find what you are looking for hardly any fresh flowers left to choose from what ones that were left were again not in water I hate bags /shopping being checked it’s not great when you are in a hurry you make customers feel uncomfortable as if you don’t trust your customers time wasting what’s the point then of self check out get rid of self check out if you don’t trust your customers it’s seriously off putting your customers you are losing customers by doing this toilets were unclean
This is a large store with an amazing Costa Coffee inside! Whilst I was waiting in line for checkout, one of the staff opened a till for me to pay for my shopping then closed afterwards. Being disabled, this meant the world to me as standing around can be very painful for me. A little gesture goes a long way!
