I don’t normally review big conglomerates like this but it’s the guys on the shop floor that make a real difference. Emily strawberry red hair at the Bury, Woodfeild branch on breads today is lovely! Being in customer service for 30+ years I could not fault her service and dedication. She was approachable, pleasant and in today’s young society of social media brain-rot, she was multi-tasking handling multiple customer enquires whilst managing everyone’s expectations. Today’s youth can learn a lot from her attitude towards customers and the workplace. Well done Emily and keep up the good work! To management: Please relay this back to her. Thanks.
I went to go in at 11.40 they close at 12. The security stopped me looked me up and down and said no mate!. I was quite shocked and asked what his issue was he said that they're closing. I still had 20 mins and explained this I also asked why he looked me up and down before saying this. For the record I've never been to this store before, I was wearing mallet trainers, Armani jogging bottoms, an under armour t shirt and a pull and bear bomber jacket. I do have a shaved head this seems to scare some people. Anyway he went on they he only works there and it's the management that won't let me in. I was quite annoyed told him my disgust at his attitude and walked out. I got into my van and saw that he had followed me out so I beepedy horny. At that point another customer walked straight in. Enough was enough so I confronted him that someone had just walked in and why wasn't I good enough to enter his precious store. He told me it was ok now but I need to hurry as I only had 10 mins. I won't write here what I said to him but I think you can guess. Another Tesco I would advise people to avoid.
Only had yellow split peas... and I want to make a green pea and ham soup... Why on earth would a chain as large as the likes of these only supply and keep stocks of yellow split peas? Could you please send me a reply to explain as a big spender in your stores? Maybe we could arrange a meeting with your purchases department and advise them what they should be doing....
I've Been using Tesco Bury as my weekly shopping destination for a while now, I recently stumbled upon the fact I'm Lactose Intolerant, finding Dairy free products can sometimes be a challenge as well as adjusting to the change.nnWhilst looking for lactose free cream cheese I asked a member of staff ,who I can only assume is the Chilled Section Manager, whether they sold specific products. He informed me he didn't, but instead of leaving it he instructed me to give him a few weeks and he'll get it on a shelf for me and he actually did! You hear a lot about the negative stuff with superstores and not a whole lot about the good, so to that gentleman. Thank You
It’s a decent store but seems as though a lot of items are out of stock in store but if you check availability online it’s in stock which is very confusing and frustrating as I expect to get what I came in for and am left disappointed that it’s no where in stores. They are also undergoing maintenance which leads to everything being allocated in odd locations making the ease of shopping a pain as it’s constant items being moved not to mention finding staff here is impossible unless you go to the checkouts where they all seem to constantly be stood.
