Dear TesconTenterden is seen as an affluent Town, from the outside. However for our 8000+ residents, we have three foodbanks, and one re-occurring bi-monthly. Lots of help also comes from St Mildred's Church.nnThe rents are exceptionally high, as is our Council Tax.nnTesco, Tenterden, has stopped offering the Value range. Your prices are escalating weekly on many items including Eggs, now £1.60 for 1/2 a dozen. You no longer offer the 15 eggs value range.nYou can't buy a multi pack of Tesco baked beans or chopped tomatoes. I am struggling to keep up with the random price changes and lack of Tesco Value items. This store is blatantly gauging its local customers. Many of those customers struggling with the cost of living, but because of where we live, it is assumed we can all afford it, we cannot. Those that can afford it, go and shop at Waitrose.nnI haven't seen a store manager on the shop floor for months. According to one of your employees, the foodbank donation bins, are not sent to Tenterden's foodbanks, but are in actual fact shipped off to Ashford instead. You have a moral responsibility here.nnDo something community minded and give back your value range and stop hiking the prices of staples up. ThanksnI did try and email you, but non of them work.
One star because the checkouts are the slowest I have ever come across. The staff are mostly half asleep. They should be taken to Lidl and Aldi to see how it should be done.
I would like to say a massive thank you to Jamie in store today we had a really big pre wedding shop to do and it was complicated but she went above and beyond! She found us stock helped us scan she was so knowledgeable and made it a real pleasure! Thank you Jamie and Tesco
Were no longer fans of Tesco supermarkets. Due to product pricing and the massive reduction in their clubcard system, both in terms of points offered oer £ and the reduced buying power of those points once earned.nThey also claim to Aldi price match but this is only for a limited range of items and not for your whole shop.nTesco need to work much harder to earn our loyalty!
Reasonable prices, free parking and helpful staff. Good range of premium frozen meals
