Great selection for your basic needs, no queues for the cashiers and most importantly they had Methylated Spirit, which I needed for my Trangia storm stove alcohol burner during my camping trip to Scotland. P.S. Remember to grab some IRN BRU while you're at it!
Tesco Cafe... can't even poach an egg. Poor quality and poor effort. Guess you get what you pay for ‍
I have always been a regular shopper at tesco, fortunately I am lucky enough to change the times I visit the shop now. I tend to go after 8pm at night, this is my own choice and it's down to the amount of people just not wearing masks anymore. I find this very disturbing however everyone has their own rights. The staff always have masks on and they are 1st class, always so helpful and very rarely do I come away with items missing from my shopping list.
Planning a Christmas Soirée this year ?nIf so think twice before purchasing Tesco party food.nI made a dreadful error and decided to save time and purchased Tesco “Mini Chicken Kiev and loaded potato skin party food” and suffice to say, “ both products were totally disgusting…nThe chicken content of the Kievs was negligible and what chicken I did manage to find was obviously reformed from fifty chickens, I’m sure the cardboard package sleeve would have been more palatable !nThe loaded potato skins were equally disgusting!nThis so called “party food” is not cheap, however the quality of what’s offered certainly is cheap rubbish!nThe moral of this review is:nTry and purchase some “fresh cooked” chicken, preferably on the bone and some wraps and make your own party food, it may well be slightly more time consuming, but at least you’ll know how many chickens have been slaughtered in the process and it will certainly taste far superior to this “Party Food Rubbish” Tesco are selling !
It is a smallish Tesco, with a related range of items. Essentials are easily available as is a selection of lunchtime snack/quick meal offerings.nStaff are friendly and seem quick to help this makes for a pleasant visit.nCar parking is available with a disabled/parent-child friendly parking area right at the main entrance.nWhen I visited there were a range of price reductions on offer on every day items like; Washing machine liquid and the essential food group chocolate snacks.
