The place is SO badly stocked ie things always in the wrong place / out of stock stickers over prices of things that are clearly in stock, staff are unhelpful and just stand around chatting and the produce is off and disgusting.
Many occasions no trolleys available had to go down to car park get one and bring it upnA lot of items out of date. Most of the checkout staff are nice just one sullen unhelpful woman was so angry phoned and complained todaynI try to avoid this woman when possiblenThe guy I spoke to.did not even ask for acontact number or anything poor customer service
Seems to be more and more common now that fresh items on shelves are past their sell by date. Bought two fresh pasta sauces today and only noticed they were over 10 days out of date when I went to use one.nnNearly had the same situation a few weeks ago with sandwich filler. Noticed in the shop and pointed out to a member of staff nearby, but they had zero interest in what I was telling them.nnClearly not being checked, so makes you wonder what else is being mishandled.nnSo make sure you check stuff you're putting in your basket.
Was in shop couple days ago, couldn’t find what I was looking for so asked a member of staff. The look I got from her because I interrupted her conversation with her collogue! It was as if I was being ignorant asking for her help! Sorry to say but it’s time ASDA management took control of their shop staff! Lidl has just gained a new customer.
Scanned my items through the scan on the go feature and when i reached the service till and scanned it over, i was approached by the wicked witch of the west. She GRABBED my receipt from the dispenser and started to grill me about having not paid for things. After i said that i HAVE indeed scanned and paid for everything including 2x 30p bags, i was asked for my receipt that was firmly gripped in her already clinched fist. She then asked me if i was sure that i paid for everything as she was going to check. This felt more like a threat than a standard procedure to be honest. I understand staff have a duty to protect the store from theft, but the aggression shown towards me and intimidation tactics implemented was way out of order. I left the shop shaking with fear and have taken an hour to gather myself back together.
