I like the Tesco in Harlesden and regulary shop here. The range of world foods and household essentials means there’s lots that can be cooked at home. The store is generally quite clean, so I don’t often worry about food hygiene. However, like most stores and restaurants there is some room for improvement. The aisles are quite narrow because of how much selection is in the small store, this is understandable. However, often at the end of these aisles there are floats with produce or bakery items on. It makes sense from a promotional and stock perspective, but it ultimately leads to slow circulation in the store. This is particularly noticeable down the yoghurts, produce, meat and bakery aisles. Saturday and Sunday are regularly the worst days to visit, as the queues are exceptionally long. This seems in part due to the community being filled with people that are slow as opposed to not having enough checkouts or staff in the shop. They could probably alleviate some of this by adding an additional 2 - 4 self checkouts instead of the basket only lane. The security guards are friendly, the items are normally in stock, the prices are reasonable, and it doesn’t take too long to get in and out. So it’s a valuable store for Harlesdens local residents.

Standard Tesco, slightly bigger therefore more range. But always hectic in there

During the weekend its a lack of stuff , sometimes its not really clean

Really bad staff. Noone at the bakery section. Also employees not speaking English

I find it can be very messy .I do not enjoy shopping there. It is not clean and it can be very disorganised. Much prefer Waitrose or M&S.
