Large with a good range of products. More available than in my own hometown. Helpful staff when looking for items in store. Service at coffee shop was as expected normal and we enjoyed what we had on both occasions. I have no complaints so far. In fact, I like this store, especially the coffeee shop which is why im wroting a review, and I will stop here again when I visit Inverness. Of course, I will update this review if standards fall also.
I am on yr vulnerable customer site today a little snow outside Inverness got a message my order would be delivered between 1 and 2 pm . Then because of weather conditions cancelled . I am disabled and can't get out. Could not contact tesco or new name fiasco I had no milk or bread but after managing to get through to them they were very sorry. I only live 1 to 2 miles on A9 which was perfectly clear from their Super store. However they were not going to take my payment ! And I can order again I was so upset as I did not know what to do their treatment was cruel. I eventually spoke to a nice lady but it was outwith her remit. A very harrowing experience for a disabled OAP. I don't believe the weather in town was the problem.nnice lady who was very sorry but it was not her fault.
Very rarely shop here. Wanted a pint of milk. Never normally use self service. However, only had pint of milk and check outs busy. Went to que at self service told curtly by assist I needed to que. Asked where one qued as not used to this shop. Told to que at other end. So, joined the the lengthy que and yes there were Que jumpers. so, a till becomes available. It would not scan. Pressed help button and stood for 10 minuest. No one came. So, saw an assist and asked for help to be told was at wrong till it was only for self scanning !! Sorry and I did apologise but, handed the milk to the employee and stated “I have had enough!”nIf there are to be queues and designated areas more staff to direct people like myself whom are not in the know. Better still bring back basked check outs please please.
I think Tesco is a company that dreams of every single store being completely staffless and cashless in the near future. Staffed tills are disappearing and the few tills like that they do have are often all closed. Most of the self service checkouts are card/smartphone only.
It's large, was clean and easy to find what we needed. Appreciated staff member stopping us buying some fruit she was about to mark down. Also needed the toilet while there and appreciated that being available and clean. Recommended.
